The challenge
A battery pack is only as safe as the electronics guarding it. On a high-drain personal electric vehicle, the protection has to handle real current, watch the pack, and cut off cleanly on overcharge, over-discharge, or a short — all without getting in the rider’s way.
What we did
We designed the charge and discharge protection modules and the BMS boards that sit between the cells and the rest of the system — schematic and PCB, built to carry the currents these packs actually draw and to fail safe when something goes wrong.
